Bloomin' Love Anniversary Card

So I'm trying to get back into the swing of posting in Challenges & today you're lucky, I've got TWO blogs for you - late entries to Challenges! Here is my entry for the Global Design Project #GDP026 Sketch Challenge:

The Challenge sketch is down the bottom of the post & I have followed it pretty literally. I had to make an anniversary card for some family members, so it fit the style I wanted perfectly. I knew I wanted to use the florally heart die from the Bloomin' Hearts thinlits, so then I had a look through the Wildflower Fields DSP (Sale-A-Bration item - only available until 31 March!) & chose this lovley vine design in Old Olive & Blackberry Bliss.

I did my cardbase 6x6" in Old Olive & layered it with the DSP, more Old Olive & then some Whisper White. I did the heart die in Blackberry Bliss with some little Whisper White flowers & a rhinestone in the middle of them. I have stuck the heart & flowers down with Glue Dots. I then added a strip of the Silver Metallic Glitter Tape (Sale-A-Bration item - only available until 31 March!) & a little banner of Old Olive.

The sentiment is from the Number of Years stamp set & I have used Blackberry Bliss ink.

I have also made a Whisper White envelope & lined it with the matching DSP. How amazingingly easy is the Envelope Punch Board?! It's a new addition to my stash & I love it!! Here's a little tip for the envelope liner - glue the bottom half of the liner into the envelope, pop the card in the envelope & then fold the envelope flap over into the closed position before gluing down, to get a nice flush finish.

I have followed the same theme on the inside & used the same stamp & ink as on the front.

On the front of the envelope I used the flower stamps from the Number of Years stamp set in Old Olive & Blackberry Bliss. This really is an amazing stamp set with heaps of stamps in it, so if you haven't already got it, you need to!

Here is the Challenge Sketch:
