Enjoy the Little Things in Life Design Team Video Blog Hop - Pieces & Patterns

Hi Crafters!

Thank you for joining us for our FIRST Enjoy the Little Things in Life Design Team Video Blog Hop. We are going to be giving you inspiration once a month that will help you to be more creative and give you some great ideas and tips including videos. We have an incredibly amazing team of demonstrators from around the world that are part of this hop!

Today I've decided to use the adorable Pieces & Patterns stamp set with the coordinating Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper. I just love this stuff! I've already used most of the pack haha!

I've used cardstock in Emerald Envy, Crushed Curry & Sahara Sand as these are coordinating colours in the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper (DSP). I've used the bear & three spot images from the Pieces & Patterns stamp set, picked up all on the one block, & repeatedly stamped them diagonally across the card fronts in Sahara Sand.

I've used the Layering Circle Dies for the largest circle (DSP) & the scallop edge (black), & I've used the Stitched Shapes Dies for the sentiment (Crushed Curry, stamped in Basic Black).

Then I've used an offcut of the DSP (black) for the strip. I've added some Black Metallic Thread & sequins for bling.

I've also stamped the inside of the card with the grouping of stamps in Sahara Sand on a layer of Whisper White.

And here's a little video I made of how I put them together:

I hope you've enjoyed my cards & video today. You are currently visiting Jessie Holton, please continue around the hop to see all the rest of the great projects with new products - you don't want to miss any!

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop - Annual Sneak Peek - In the City

Hi Crafters!

Some exciting news for you today! It's Blog Hop time!! Today we are showing off all the new products from the Annual Catalog that goes live on 1 June! Woop!

I hope you find great inspiration from all the projects in this hop. You may be starting the hop here at my blog (Jessie Holton) or you may have come from the previous person on the list. Be sure to click on the next person in the list to continue your blog hop adventure to see all the new products. You don't want to miss any!

I've got new neighbours & what a perfect excuse to break into the new Hostess Stamp Set - In the City! It's so cute, I just love it's cartoon quality & the simple two step stamping makes for a really fun card! But these stamps would be perfect to colour in with the Stampin' Write Markers, Aqua Painters, Blender Pens or the new Watercolour Pencils, too.

I've lined up the first five outline images & picked them up on one clear block & then used that to repeat the pattern in Basic Black. I've used Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Real Red, Wild Wasabi & Smoky Slate to colour them in with the filler stamps. I've also used just the filler stamp for the clouds in Smoky Slate & the outline for the cobblestones in Basic Grey. This stamp set has a ton of images!

Then I thought I'd do a couple of baby cards as my other neighbours are expecting (don't know which sex) & my brother & his wife are expecting a girl. I've added the stalk in Basic Grey to these cards & also added the fussy cut buildings (above) & the trees (below) on Dimensionals. I also added some Blushing Bride sequin trim to the card below & popped the sentiment up on Dimensionals. I used the border stamp from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set & cut out with the coordinating Classic Label Punch.

I hope you've enjoyed my cards today, I certainly had a lot of fun making them & will be playing more with this cool stamp set! You are currently visiting Jessie Holton, please hop around the list below & enjoy all the samples we've got for you! xx

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Wood Textures Suite

Hi Crafters!

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop – Wood Textures Suite hop! The Stamping Sunday Blog Hop takes place the second and fourth Sunday of each month & the team of international demonstrators share designs with a focus on one product or product suite. I'm very honored to be this hop's Guest Hopper!

This hop, we are using products from the Wood Textures Suite which will be available in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog coming June 1. Please contact me if you live in Australia & you need a catalog!

Here are my two projects that I've created with the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP).

First up, I've made a card with Wisteria Wonder & Tranquil Tide cardstock & I've used the Softly Falling embossing folder for the top layer of Wisteria Wonder. Then I've cut out a bunch of the flowers from the Delightful Daisy DSP & arranged them around underneath my Wood Textures & Smokey Slate layer with the Daffodil Delight double stitch ribbon underneath.

I got my top layer by using the Lovely Words Thinlit Dies & the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies. You can see what I did with the other part of the hugs die cut here.

On the inside I have layered a piece of Whisper White cardstock with another of the little flower pieces I fussy cut from the Delightful Daisy DSP. I've also gone around the edge with the Tranquil Tide Stampin Write Marker, then I've stamped the sentiments from the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set in Pool Party & Wisteria Wonder. Then I've added the little flower in Night of Navy from the Bloomin' Love stamp set. I've also added a couple of extra dots to the flowers & around the D in 'friend' with the Night of Navy Stampin Write Marker.

Next up I have the cute little matching hexagon box which I've made with the Window Box Thinlit Dies & all the same products as I've used for the card above.

And here is a side view of the hexagon box.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you've enjoyed the goodies I've showed you today & that you continue to go around the rest of the blog hop - all the projects are fabulous & you don't want to miss any! xx
