Ok, so now we've got that out of the way... to today's card:

Day 2 of this series & I've pulled out a really fun design for you today! I forgot to mention yesterday that this stamp set is for a really good cause! Part of the proceeds of the sales of this stamp set get donated by Stampin' Up! to the Ronald McDonald Childrens' House, so if you like this set, get on board! :P

I've used the Tip Top Taupe card stock again for the base & layered it with five different printed papers, all from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper (DSP) stack. I've used the same stamp as I used yesterday, but instead of making it into a cloud, it's the top of the cupcake.

You might also recognise the left over Pool Party streamers and Tip Top Taupe stripe print papers. Each of the Tip Top Taupe cards from today & yesterday were made from half an A4 sheet. At the end of the week, I'll list all the products & quantities I have used so you can see that it doesn't take much to make a great card if you've got the right products! :)

I've used the Bermuda Bay and Watermelon Wonder inks to make the cupcake. I've used the Tree Builder stamp to cut the top of the cupcake out & fussy cut the base & the candle, then I've snail glued the whole lot onto Watermelon Wonder card stock & fussy cut the it out. I've used the same technique for the sentiment. Both the sentiment & the cupcake are up on Dimensionals.

I used the Bermuda Bay and Watermelon Wonder inks again on the inside & the little sprinkles stamp. All the stamps I've used are from the Sprinkles of Life set, it is such good value! I've layered up Whisper White card stock & Watermelon Wonder card stock for the base.

And I've used the sprinkles stamp again on the envelope, this time in Bermuda Bay ink.

Here are my suggested products below. Remember to use my December Hostess Code 3JKG26HJ when ordering so you get to share in the Rewards! There's only a few more days to share in the fun! Please see the information further down the page in relation to the Rewards.

Sprinkles of Life Week - Day 1

Ok, so this week I wanted to show you a really versatile stamp set & try & use as few products as possible to show you how many different looks & cards you can get without too much outlay.

I chose the Sprinkles of Life set which I fell in love with in the catalogue but haven't had a chance to use yet, so I'm super excited to finally pull it out & have some fun with it! And I chose the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper (DSP) Stack cos it's so cute & matches the cupcakes theme but also has a great range of matching colours so hopefully we can achieve some really different looks.

Cherry on Top matching colours: Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush, Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White.

Here's my first card in the set:

I've used the Tip Top Taupe card stock as a base (for something different!) and layered with the Whisper White card stock & the Tip Top Taupe stripes print out of the Cherry on Top DSP. I've then used the Pool Party streamers & dots print paper to make the clouds, which have been stamped with Tip Top Taupe & cut out with the Tree Builder Punch which is the suggested punch for this stamp set.

I've used the Pool Party card stock as the back layer of the banner & the spotty print paper as the front layer. Both layers have been cut out with the Triple Banner Punch. I've stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White card stock just to make it pop a bit more. I've put two of the clouds & the banner up on Dimensionals & added 'rain drop' rhinestones, although there is a raindrop stamp in the Sprinkles of Life set & also a rain drop shape in the Tree Builder Punch. I tried them but preferred the rhinestones.

On the inside, I've done a simple layer of the Pool Party streamers & dots print paper to write on. I decided not to stamp another message on the inside as I think the card is quite sweet without it.

And I've put a cute little rain cloud on the corner of the envelope so it all matches.

Here are my suggested products below. Remember to use my December Hostess Code 3JKG26HJ when ordering so you get to share in the Rewards! There's only a few more days to share in the fun! Please see the information further down the page in relation to the Rewards.

Share the Love Week - Day 8

The final day & card in this series! I've had a lot of fun & I think I'm going to do another series, so you all can see the different cards you can make with some similar products, but next time I'll do a bunch of different sentiments haha! Then once the Christmas break is over & all the Challenges are back open again, I'll get back into them :)

Here's the final card in this series for you:

And I think I might have saved the best til last! I absolutely love how sweet this rose looks with the white flower print paper inside & the Rose Red flower print paper outside. They're in the same print, so they match so well! The paper is of course from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper (DSP), which is coming out in the new catalogue out on 5 January 2016! You guys are going to love all the awesomeness in there!!

Again, I've gone with the Whisper White card stock base, with a layer of Blushing Bride card stock & the Love Blossoms DSP over the top. The Rose Garden Die set has been cut out of Gold Foil card stock on the Big Shot. I've used the Decorative Label Punch in Crumb Cake with a layer of Botanicals Vellum DSP over the top. The sentiment is from the Bloomin' Love stamp set & has been stamped in Rose Red ink. The sentiment & the rose are propped up on Dimensionals. I've used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to stick the Gold rose to the white flower print Love Blossoms DSP & I've used the Snail Glue for the rest.

Products from the new catty - available from 5 January 2016
- Bloomin Love stamp set
- Rose Garden die set
- Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper
- Botanicals Vellum Designer Series Paper

Share the Love Week - Day 7

Almost done with this series of cards! And it's been fun, hasn't it! I have one card left to show you tomorrow - who says a week can't have 8 days? :)

Here's today's card:

I love this card! I think it's really sweet & simple. I actually sent this card to my friends for their engagement. Here I've used the Whisper White card stock base with a Cherry Cobbler layer & the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper in the Crumb Cake Hearts design.

I've teamed it up with the Pink Pirouette card stock which I've laid under the Rose Garden die cut. This has been made with the Gold Foil card stock sheet, with the Big Shot & the Precision Plate. Another great tool for delicate die cuts is the new Big Shot Die Brush, which you roll over the die after you've cut it out & the bristles get in all the little holes & push the die cut out of the die so you don't need to stick things in there to pry it out or pull on it & break it. It's amazing! I've always hated dies because I end up being too rough & breaking them & now I'm getting them out perfectly & without a problem every time! :)

I've also used the Note Tag Punch to cut out a Cherry Cobbler & a Pink Pirouette tag & slightly overlapped them. I've used the Gold Ink & the sentiment is from the Blooming Hearts stamp set. The red string is from my stash. The Rose & the Note Tags are propped up on Dimensionals. I've used the Fine Tip Glue to attach the Gold Rose to the Pink Pirouette background & then fussy cut it out. I've used the Snail Glue for the rest.

Products from the new catty - available from 5 January 2016

- Rose Garden die set
- Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper

Share the Love Week - Day 6

Day 6 of this set & I hope you can see how  versatile all the products are. I know this lot I have done them all in the Love theme, but it would be easy to turn them into birthday or thank you cards with a different sentiment. I am just trying to show how you can make a heap of different cards without too many different products :)

This is the card I've made for you today:

This is a simple banner design using a Whisper White card stock base, layered with Cherry Cobbler card stock and Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper. The Gold Foil Flower & Leaves have been cut from the Rose Garden Thinlits die set on the Big Shot.

The sentiment is from the Bloomin Love stamp set, in Cherry Cobbler ink on another piece of the Love Blossoms DSP & cut out with the Washi Label Punch. I have set the sentiment & the gold flower up on Dimensionals. I have been careful not to punch out the bits in the flower to give it a fuller look & also so that I could put a Dimensional behind it without it being seen. I have used the fine tip glue to stick the leaves in place & snail glue for the rest.

Products from the new catalogues - available from 5 Jan 2016
- Bloomin Love stamp set
- Rose Garden die set
- Love Blossoms DSP

Products I've used from the current catalogues are below. Remember to use my December Host Code 3JKG26HJ when ordering so you get extra goodies from me! There are only a few more days to share in the sharing fun!
