Winter Wonderland Week - Day 5

Wow, Day 5 of the Winter Wonderland Week - we're almost at the end! I've had fun keeping this theme going! I hope you have, too!

On Saturday morning I'll be drawing the winner of the Winter Wonderland set of cards (click here for the Competition). Then on Sunday night at 6pm  we're doing the Blog Hop with Pootles Sunday 6pm! So exciting!! Make sure you check back in for that, there will be really talented people blogging from all over the world & we're showing off products from the new catalogue due to come out on 5 Jan! Yay!!

Today I've decided to play along with the Sweet Sunday Sketch #299. Here is their sketch:

And here is my entry:

I've used the usual Whisper White card stock base, layered with Basic Black card stock. Then I've used a bunch of different patterned sheets from the Winter Wonderland Designer Series Paper (DSP) & layered them with Mint Macaron card stock.

I've used the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Triple Banner Punch & Note Tag Punch to cut them out & the sentiment is from the Wonderous Wreath stamp set, stamped in Rose Red ink. The red string is from my stash. I have put them all straight onto the card without Dimensionals as there was already a bit of bulk with all the layering.

Quick & easy but I think super effective & you can use all your scraps to make it!

Here's a little tip of mine for card making/scrapbooking: I keep all my DSP scraps in the cello bag that the DSP comes in, with the matching DSP & then when I've used all the DSP, I throw out the rest of the scraps. Otherwise, they build up too much & I always just use my current scraps anyway, I never end up looking back through the old scraps & using them. I keep the card stock scraps on my craft table & try to use them up ASAP.

Here are the products I've used. Remember to use my December Hostess Code 3JKG26HJ when ordering so you get extra goodies from me! And send me an email so I can add you to my newsletter mail-out.
