Sweet Cupcake stamps & Painted with Love DSP - Stamparatus

Hi Crafters!

Today I'm showing you some of the cards I've recently made with my Stamparatus. It was so much fun & once I got the hang of it, I absolutely plowed through the dozen birthday cards I wanted to make.

I chose to use the Sweet Cupcake stamp set as it is a three part top & three part bottom, so there would be a ton of stamping involved to make the dozen I wanted. I only ended up using two of the bottom set, but I used all three of the top icing part & the sentiment & sprinkles in black.

I used Powder Pink cardstock with Basic Black ink for the sentiment & sprinkles. Then I used Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo & Melon Mambo for the cupcake. With the Stamparatus, I tried stamping them step by step adding all the colours to the one piece at a time, but I found it was easier to stamp all the bits in the one colour first, then do them all again adding the second colour & so on. I have cut them out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, the second largest circle.

I absolutely love all the gold foil in this beautiful Painted With Love Designer Series Paper. I have used the Melon Mambo 12x12" cardstock cut into three 4" pieces & then folding in half at the 6" mark. You can get this cardstock in a Painted With Love cardstock pack with Powder Pink & Calypso Coral in the pack as well. I have added a simple Peekaboo Peach Crinkle Ribbon bow to this card.

For the slightly stepped up version, I have used a different print from the same pack of DSP with a piece of White Glimmer Paper cut with the largest circle & a Powder Pink Finely Woven Ribbon. You really don't need to add much to this delightful paper.

And here's a view of the inside of the card. I've placed the sentiment & a candle in the bottom corner to leave lots of room for a nice message.

  1. A great way to use your Stamparatus Jessie. I have been using a stamp positioning tool for a while now but not one as advanced as a Stamparatus (so I had to have one!) I love it for the hinged technique and the fact that you have 4 surfaces for stamps to be on. Great tool, looking forward to seeing what else you come up with Jessie. :O)
