The last few days have been so humid, my inks have gone all juicy! But still, I'd rather warm weather where I can just pop on a dress & thongs (flip flops for you non Aussies lol) than try & put pants & shoes on with my big belly! Less than 6 weeks to go now til bub #2 arrives!
We're starting to organise the baby stuff now. We bought a second chest of drawers & filled it will all of the baby clothes - oh my gosh, they're so tiny & cute!! And my hubby Dave has just taken Luke's car seat out & has gone off to wash the car before he moves Luke's seat to the driver's side & puts the capsule in on the passenger side. It's getting close!
Today I'm playing along with my own Case This Card Travel Theme Challenge, as well as a couple of others - #SIP79 Anything but Christmas, #TGIFC88 Case the Designer & #JAI342 "N" Challenge.
I've used a Night of Navy cardstock base with another layer in between the Carried Away Designer Series Paper, which is a free item you can get when you spend $90AUD from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! Don't have your new Occasions & Sale-A-Brations catalogs yet? Sign up here!
I've also added a few of the stamped balloons in Mint Macaron, Peekaboo Peach & Night of Navy plus the sentiment in Watermelon Wonder. The balloons were die cut on my Big Shot with the matching Up & Away Thinlits & the sentiment with the Project Life Cards & Labels Thinlits. The sentiment is propped up on Dimensionals & I've used a Dauber to go around the outside with Watermelon Wonder ink.
For some extra bling/pretty, I've added some Copper Thread, Watermelon & Copper Washi Tape from the Affectionately Yours set & the Navy Washi Tape from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit.
I have followed through on the inside using more of the images & sentiments from the Lift Me Up bundle, the Washi Tapes & ink colours as used on the front. See my product list & learn how you can earn free products below.
This card is going to a family friend in England who lost her mother a week before Christmas, so hopefully it lifts her spirits.
