I really love the pretty designs in the Birthday Bouquet DSP & so I had to get it out & play with the icecreams! I have used the Basic Black cardstock base & layered with a couple of the prints from the DSP & added a little Gold Foil Banner. I have heat embossed the sentiment from the Hello stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) catalog onto the DSP before sticking it onto the card. I have used gold emboss powder with the Versamark ink to do this.
I learnt the other day that you need to heat emboss before you stick it onto the card or all your glue melts & loses it's sticky!! woops!
SAB items: if you spend $90 on any current product, you can choose a free item from the SAB catalog!! The Hello stamp set & the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set are just two of the gorgeous items you can choose from!
On the inside of the card, I have layered some more of the DSP with white paper from my stash. I have used the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set (also from the Sale-A-Bration catalog) to stamp the inside of the card. I have used the washi tape/post it note technique for the icecream stamp to hide part of the stamp at a time so I can do it in two colours. The inks I have used are Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron & Soft Suede. I actually got one of the icecreams lined up perfectly, but I was so excited that I wrote on the card & sealed it in an envelope before I took a picture of it!! haha!!
I have used the bone folder to get a crisp fold in my cards & I have fussy cut the gold banners.
