Kylie's Highlights - Pretty Parasols

Hi gorgeous!

How are you today? Thanks so much for checking out my post. Here's a cute card from my June Class, using the Pretty Parasols stamp set & coordinating Umbrella Punch.

I have traced a circle on the card using a 2" Circle Punch cut out, stamped the flowers all around in Rococo Rose, then erased the pencil marks. I stamped the lace under the umbrella in Seaside Spray, across the center of the flowers. I have white heat embossed the lace umbrella stamp on Seaside Spray cardstock & punched & adhered the stick to it, then attached to the card front with Dimensionals.

I have stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock & splattered the card front with Seaside Spray Stampin Write Marker. I have added a Seaside Spray mat layer & adhered to the Rococo Rose cardstock base with Dimensionals. I have finished with Butterfly Gems & stamped the inside to match.

How are you today? Thanks so much for checking out my post. Today I'm showing you my admin inspiration for the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! #awlsu059 Just Add Dies challenge. Click here to join the Facebook group to play along.

I have used the Forever Blossoms Bundle & the Timeless Tulips stamp set to make this sympathy card for a family friend. This one uses Petal Pink & Old Olive Blends with the new gold twine. I have also used the retired Perennial Vellum but you could use plain cardstock for a similar look.

Freshly Brewed Blog Hop - Foiled - Game On

How are you today? Thanks so much for checking out my post. Today I'm hopping with the Freshly Brewed Crew & make sure you check out the participants list below the pics to follow the blog hop around & see everyone's fabulous creations!

This week, we are playing with Foil & I have chosen this gorgeous World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper with the Game On Stamp Set. These are both new products from the new Annual Catalog. I followed a tutorial & measurements from Frenchie Stamps to make this peek-a-boo card. I have also used the new Post Stamp Punch but I would recommend a punch or die with a smooth edge to make the mechanism work a bit more smoothly.

The dice show in the window when you have the card closed, but as you open it, the deck of cards slide into view. It was a really fun card to make, once I understood the mechanism. I have coloured around the images with Black Stampin Blends.
