Mediterranean Moments for GDP091

Hi Crafters!

Today I'm playing along with the Global Design Project Wheels Challenge, which is a nice change to all the Blog Hops I've been doing! I thought I would break into my Mediterranean Moments stamp set & can you believe it was one of the first ones I bought from the old catalog & I've only just opened it! Bad Jessie!

I've White heat embossed on Shimmery White cardstock then copied this technique from the OnStage demonstration we were given, except the lady sponged the card & I've used the Aquapainters to splash the Smoky Slate ink across it. I've coloured it in with Real Red & Basic Black. The sentiment is from the Big on Birthdays stamp set.

On the inside, I've just inked the corner of the stamp in Real Red & then used the matching Stampin Write Marker to go around the edge. I'm quite enjoying a hand drawn border lately! :P xx

June RAK Blog Hop

Hi Crafters!

Another month of Random Act of Kindness fun times!! Each month, we each select a few people from the Group to send a RAK card to, to brighten their day. Check out all the amazing cards I've received this past month! They are all so special & filled with lovely messages. It makes a trip out to the letterbox very exciting! Thank you to all the lovely ladies who've spoiled me this month! xx

And these next lot were part of a RAK group swap I took part in to show off all the new products. There were several of these going on for all the different countries. I was part of Group 7 for Australia. My card is at the bottom... obviously I missed the memo to use pink haha! I have opted to use the new Pieces & Patterns suite instead. See my blog post for more info on those.

This is what's in my box to be sent out for June, time to get crack-a-lackin' & write out some cards! Are you going to receive one?

And this is what I sent out at the end of May using By the Shore Designer Series Paper & coordinating colours & products. I've used the Seaside Embossing Folder, 2" Circle Punch, Burlap Ribbon, Copper Thread & Thoughtful Banners Bundle.

This was the production line...

And the final product ready to go in the post, 26 all up going to the USA, Canada, Germany & Australia. I sent these to random people off the list, most of whom I don't know. It was a really nice feeling to know that I was going to brighten the day of all those strangers!

June OSAT Blog Hop - Masculine

Hi Crafters!

Welcome to another month of One Stamp at a Time fun! This month, we're showing off masculine projects. I'm showing you my take on the Wood Suite make & take we did at OnStage in April & I hope you like it!

I chose the darker side of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper & left a little border of white at the bottom. I've also left another little border between the top of the Wood panel & the string, which I've knotted instead of tying in a bow.

Below is a picture of the note cards inside the Wood Crate, which is actually very sturdy! I've used more of the Linen Thread & some of the new Copper Trim to tie it.

Creating Kindness Blog Hop; New Catalog Favourites - You're Delightful

Hi Crafters!

Welcome to the first (of many) of the new Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop! Yay! I'm very excited to say that I'm a Design Team Member on this great group of demonstrators! Every month, we will bring you a blog hop & a video hop on YouTube! So not only do you get to see the photos of the beautiful projects we make, but you also get a tutorial video with it!

I've had so much fun making these cards for you today... We're working with new products from the new Annual Catalog today! And there a few (read lots!) of things in there that I'm very excited about!

I love love love this new stamp set!! Isn't it delightful? It's called You're Delightful & it's a Hostess Stamp Set. And it's even better in Copper heat emboss! I've teamed it with the new Designer Series Papers, Wood Textures DSP & the Delightful Daisy DSP.

You may have also spied the new Copper Trim & one of the new InColours, Tranquil Tide. My card base is Smoky Slate & I've used the Lots of Labels Dies to cut the Wood Textures DSP for the sentiments. There are two big sentiments in this stamp set, along with a bunch of cute smaller sentiments & some little speech bubble emoticons. Here's the other big sentiment, You're the Best!
