Hi Crafters!
Today I'm showing you the rest of the Magical Mermaid cards I made for yesterday's hop with the Creating Kindness Design Team Video Blog Hop. Definitely go & check that out, if you haven't already seen it. We had a very special guest, one of my fave crafters ever - Mr Brian King! I heart BK! Gush!
Anyhoo, here's the rest of the cards I made with the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper (DSP) & I've linked the video underneath for you to have a look at.
It's so hard to choose a favourite from these three, I really love them all. Copper looks great on anything!
This pattern really reminded me of the sand. I have used the Copper Heat Emboss Powder with Versamark & the Heat Tool to set the Mermaid & the sentiment. Remember to wipe over your surfaces with the Embossing Buddy for a super clean heat embossed image.
I've added a strip of Burlap. The Tranquil Tide cardstock has been stamped with the dotty image from the stamp set with Tranquil Tide ink but you can also achieve a similar tone on tone look by using the Versamark & just letting it dry without adding any embossing powder to it.
I've cut the sentiments out using the 2" Circle Punch & used a bit more of the True Gentleman DSP cut out with the Starburst Punch behind it.
The sentiment has been attached with some Dimensionals & then I've added some Basic Jewel Rhinestones for bubbles. I've also stamped the inside to match with Tranquil Tide (stamped off for the seaweed) & Night of Navy.
