Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Wood Textures Suite

Hi Crafters!

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop – Wood Textures Suite hop! The Stamping Sunday Blog Hop takes place the second and fourth Sunday of each month & the team of international demonstrators share designs with a focus on one product or product suite. I'm very honored to be this hop's Guest Hopper!

This hop, we are using products from the Wood Textures Suite which will be available in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog coming June 1. Please contact me if you live in Australia & you need a catalog!

Here are my two projects that I've created with the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP).

First up, I've made a card with Wisteria Wonder & Tranquil Tide cardstock & I've used the Softly Falling embossing folder for the top layer of Wisteria Wonder. Then I've cut out a bunch of the flowers from the Delightful Daisy DSP & arranged them around underneath my Wood Textures & Smokey Slate layer with the Daffodil Delight double stitch ribbon underneath.

I got my top layer by using the Lovely Words Thinlit Dies & the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies. You can see what I did with the other part of the hugs die cut here.

On the inside I have layered a piece of Whisper White cardstock with another of the little flower pieces I fussy cut from the Delightful Daisy DSP. I've also gone around the edge with the Tranquil Tide Stampin Write Marker, then I've stamped the sentiments from the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set in Pool Party & Wisteria Wonder. Then I've added the little flower in Night of Navy from the Bloomin' Love stamp set. I've also added a couple of extra dots to the flowers & around the D in 'friend' with the Night of Navy Stampin Write Marker.

Next up I have the cute little matching hexagon box which I've made with the Window Box Thinlit Dies & all the same products as I've used for the card above.

And here is a side view of the hexagon box.

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you've enjoyed the goodies I've showed you today & that you continue to go around the rest of the blog hop - all the projects are fabulous & you don't want to miss any! xx

Ink & Inspirations May Blog Hop - Butterfly Basics

Hi Crafters!

Welcome to the first Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Jessie Holton from Australia. This exciting new blog hop featuring lots of existing & up-&-coming talent will be happening on the 4th Thursday of each month. I hope you can join us for all the fun times ahead!

Check out my new Blog Candy! Woop! Pretty exciting & excitingly pretty, even if I do say so myself haha! :P

I hope you enjoy my cards showcasing one of my favourite stamp sets of all time - the beautiful Butterfly Basics stamp set. I did a little happy dance when I saw it was continuing into the new catalog! I have paired it with the gorgeous Floral Boutique (Night of Navy) Designer Series Paper (DSP). Some of these patterns will live on in the new InColour DSP Stack.

I've also used the retiring Mint Macaron ink, Mint Macaron Sheer Ribbon, White Organza Ribbon & Vanilla Stitched Satin Ribbon, along with the Falling in Love Embellishments (Vanilla Flowers). I am going to miss Mint Macaron sooooo much! I just had to use it one last time before it retires!

First I made my own DSP with Mint Macaron ink on Whisper White cardstock & then I cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies & my Big Shot.

I was inspired by my craft desk, which my brother bought for me when I was in Uni. It's clear glass & black. And I love it! The cream colour you can see in the pattern is the carpet underneath my desk.

And here is a card up close. I've also made a little nest of Metallic Thread behind the sentiment on most of the cards & added Basic Pearls to the cards which didn't get the Falling in Love Embellishments. I just love the sentiment, which I've stamped in Night of Navy.

And I've stamped the inside to match. I've already used all of these cards for Random Acts of Kindness #imbringingrakcardsback #makeacardsendacard

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Jessie Holton. Please see the list below & hop through all of the blogs & projects. You don't want to miss any!

Aim for Alaska Blog Hop - Lovely Inside & Out

Image may contain: mountain, sky, outdoor, nature and water

Hi Crafters!

Today I am hopping with the Aim for Alaska team run by Kylie Bertucci. Our cards are showing off products from the new Annual Catalog that goes live on 1 June. If you live in Australia, you would like a copy & you don't have a demonstrator whom you currently order through, please get in touch with me & I'll get you a  copy.

The Aim for Alaska group is full of so many inspiring people, who freely share their business tips with everyone. Kylie does a great job organising regular Facebook Live videos with top demonstrators from all over the world. If you're a demonstrator & you'd like to earn an incentive trip, then I highly recommend that you join our group! Either way, I hope you enjoy the blog hop today & get inspired by all our projects.

Today I found out that the husband of one of my lovely customers has suddenly taken ill & is in the hospital, so I took the chance to make Russell a get well soon card & I hope it brightens their day.

I have used the new Lovely Inside & Out Bundle along with the Layering Circle Framelit Dies, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, Foam Adhesive Strips & Dapper Denim cardstock. The inks I used were White Craft ink, Dapper Denim & Early Espresso.

I hope you have enjoyed my project & that you continue the whole way around the hop. You don't want to miss any of the projects! xx
